Internship for Writing Minor:
I interned at the Santa Barbara Courthouse with Superior Judge Brian Hill. This internship was very helpful because I was able to experience firsthand what goes on inside and outside the courtroom. This allowed me to have a better understanding of what goes on after law enforcement are involved.
Why the Civic Engagement Track:
I chose the Civic Engagement Track because I believe it would complement my Sociology degree as I studied social issues.
Favorite Aspect of UCSB:
I enjoyed having access to the beach and living in Isla Vista with students my age.
Post-Graduation Plans:
I want to work for the District Attorney’s Criminal Investigation Unit as an aid for the Criminal Investigators. Eventually I hope to one day be a Criminal Investigator or Detective for a Police Department.
