INTERNSHIP
Catherine interned at the Center for Nanotechnology in Society here on campus. CNS is a research center, funded by the National Science Foundation, which studies how innovation in nanotechnology and other similar technologies impacts society. Catherine led a research project under the mentorship of CNS Director Dr. Barbara Herr Harthorn, studying public perceptions of the environmental health risks of hydraulic fracturing and the public's ideas about responsible innovation. |
