Hometown: Woodland Hills, CA
Major(s): Global Studies Minor(s): Spanish and Professional Writing - Civic Engagement Internships & Extracurriculars: During my time at UCSB, I have been fortunate to intern at both the US Green Chamber of Commerce as an International Women's Climate Justice and Sustainability Research Consultant and at Her Lawyer as a Legal Writing Intern. I have also been a Research Assistant within the UCSB Global Studies and History departments, working on a project cataloguing historical materials from Latin America and another analyzing global protest and repression throughout the 21st century. On campus, I am a member of Girl Up Club UCSB as well as Human Rights Watch UCSB. Outside of school, I worked as a Volunteer Coordinator for Champions are Readers in Goleta. Plans Post-Graduation: After graduation, I will continue working for Her Lawyer as a Legal Writing Supervisor. Beyond that, I am hoping to one day pursue a Master's degree in public policy, ideally at a university abroad. Favorite thing to do in Santa Barbara/UCSB: Though it may seem like an obvious answer, truly my favorite thing to do in Santa Barbara is go to the beach and get outside (especially during sunsets!). I love spending time with friends, eating good food, and being outdoors!
