During my time at UCSB I worked as an intern for the Associated Students Legal Resource Center (LRC). In the Fall quarter of my senior year I studied abroad in Spain and attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid improving my Spanish and taking Business classes. When I returned I worked for a judge in the Criminal Court of the Santa Barbara Superior Court. I currently am involved with Freedom4Youth (F4Y) a nonprofit organization that works to empower youth in the juvenile justice system.
What I will miss the most about UCSB:
I had a lot of great memories here at UCSB. What I will miss most is hanging out with friends and getting into the regular shenanigans we used to do. UCSB is a school that is not too big and not too small, and that was great. I did not know everybody, but I knew enough friendly people that when I walked into them on campus it would be easy to go for lunch or grab a beer. I consider UCSB and Isla Vista as a close-knit community and I am going to miss living in an area where it was easy to hang out with anybody.
After Graduation:
After graduation I am going to return home to the Bay Area while I study for the LSAT and research law schools. In the Fall, I plan on returning to Santa Barbara working as a paid intern for a reputable Law Firm that specializes in lender liability and business litigation.
